Ashford Orbital Now Part Of The JCB Group

We are delighted to announce that, as from February 2024, Ashford Orbital is now part of the JCB Group.  This fits with our ethos of being privately owned, as the JCB Group is also a family-owned dealer group that has been trading in the South East for over 25 years.  The JCB Group has an excellent reputation for quality brands and top-rated customer service.  Its partnerships with the 10 automotive brands it offers are very successful and the group is well respected within the industry.  The opportunity for Ashford Orbital's customers and staff opens new doors for greater choice, better value and more buying power for vehicle supply.  With Ashford Orbital as part of the fold, the JCB Group is now the largest Kia dealer group in Kent.  The Group aims to be the best in the business locally and excel in customer satisfaction.

Our location right next to the Ashford Market on the Ashford Orbital Business Park means we are well placed for the stocking of over 100 cars on the forecourt.  We are surrounded by industries that support the automotive sector, with easy access from the M20 motorway and an excellent train service into nearby Ashford town centre.

Our History

Ashford Orbital Ltd has been a privately owned company having purchased the dealership from Drake & Fletcher back in October 2008. Mazda have had a presence in the dealership since 2003 with Kia joining in May 2008 and Mitsubishi in December 2015, with Suzuki also joining in 2021 to maximise our 2.5 acre site.

Over the last few years the site has undergone a continual refurbishment programme with the showroom now able to display 25 cars and the workshops extended to 12 bays. The forecourt has also been extended and can now display over 100 used cars.

Our staff of 44 have many years combined experience and are continually striving to improve their knowledge through both manufacturer and our training programmes.  We look forward to welcoming you to our showrooms very soon!

Ashford Orbital are subscribers to the Motor Industry Code of Practice for Service and Repair.
